I felt my face flush. She'd come home crying down the front of her butterfly dress. The day she started to change was in mid-December of her 4th grade year. She'd cried a little but seemed excited with the photo nonetheless. I'd tried to brush it out before the picture, but it had only made it frizzy. Her long, brown hair was still in youthful ringlets laying haphazardly across her shoulders. She had a broad smile plastered across her freckled face. Each was in a different pose, though there was only 5 poses to pick from. ![]() She had a bright purple and pink spotted dress with unicorns rearing and swinging their manes around decorating the front. All up until her fourth-grade picture, which consisted of a smiling buck-tooth girl missing her lower canines. The scribbles of rainbows and fairies had been replaced by business cards and school photos. And it hangs there now as I type this with shaking hands. She had insisted I place it on the crammed fridge door. Still, though, Reed was so proud of herself. The first two words had been typed out and the final two were hand-written with a pink sharpie. When she 'graduated' that year, she received a certificate - "Best At Being Friendly". And yet, I couldn't help but feel proud of her. ![]() I think she said that to everyone, though. She said that she was the best behaved in the entire school, which consisted of all 12 kids. By the time she was 3, she had joined a Kindergarten named "Miss Blue's Adventure Emporium". Quiet, sleepy, never fussy, always up for anything. Those bubbly blonde curls that straighten and darken with age. She had those big blue eyes that shift into a deep brown as she ages. My daughter was born a happy, bouncing baby girl. See more about removals and reposts or visit NoSleepAuthors for pre-post reviews. Mods should only be contacted through modmail. Unfortunately, I cannot select the OK button because, again, my remote controller does not control anything on screen and the usual blue light which lights up whenever a button is pressed on the remote does not show. If I simply switch on the BT TV Box the screen appears in setup mode and the screen says "check that your box is connected to your aerial and Lets get started". Obviously, being away I could not do this. I did get a BT SMS while I was away informing me that my box required important software update and this would be done overnight and to leave my BT TV box plugged in and connected to the my broadband. However, I cannot navigate or choose any of the options from my remote - no button on the remote will move or select any of options. I have tried to reset as per the instructions but from the Screen which says "Maintenance Mode" and a list of reset boxes - the top one says Software Reset and the second Hardware Reset etc. Been away for a few days - But Still the BT TV box not working. ![]()
